Immigrant Experience - Bounce Music & Entertainment is now the recommended entertainment company for Ellis Island. Commemorating this event, Bounce has added to their vast roster of talent the “Immigrant Experience”. Live Actors recreating the look and feel of what the immigrants were like while coming to America in the early 20th century. Audiences are raving about the “Immigrant Experience” as Ellis Island comes to life as it was almost a hundred years ago.
Double Tree Hotel Time Square, June 6th – As Big Brown made his run at history, Bounce was right along side doing their part. The event, sponsored by UPS, “Big Brown Bid for the Triple Crown,” had all the elements of a debutante ball, from ascots to straw hats; it was truly a day at the races. Up to 600 guests were treated to three floors of dining and entertainment, as they joined in rooting on their favorite Thoroughbred. While the pre-race party was surrounded by the elegance of three separate jazz trios, Bounce heated up the Saturday night after race gala with the raucous excitement of a dance band.
Semester at Sea, June 7th – University of Virginia’s floating campus, the MV Explorer, docked at New York Harbor, was decked out with a large sampling of Bounce’s most coveted bands. Making sure that The Semester at Sea Alumni Gala, would bring back the nostalgia of every region in which the MV explorer made port. Doing so by sheer authenticity, each deck felt like a different corner of the world. The night featured a West African Djembe Drum Ensemble, a Japanese Shaquhachi Flute, A Brazilian Samba Band, a Latin Salsa Band, and a Japanese Koto dressed in traditional kimonos. And as the night came to a close, Bounce added a final crescendo as a DJ rocked the after party late into the night.
